In pursuit of its strategic objectives, Powertech IST has implemented an Integrated Business Management System which is compliant to ISO 9001:2008, and OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001:2004.

The Quality Management System (QMS) (ISO 9001) establishes the required systems, processes and procedures to provide products and services that aim to exceed the expectations of customers; add value to shareholder expectations and satisfy external quality requirements. Together with supporting business processes, it constitutes the means by which we implement, maintain and continually improve our business operations, products and services.

The Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) management system (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) provides a framework for managing our impacts on the environment, on-site and off-site, and in challenging project management environments. Meeting our stakeholder requirements in terms of environmental management is a critical part of our strategy to ensure sustainable development. It also strengthens our safety culture by providing a basis where a safety ethic permeates the whole organisation and where our people’s behavior focuses on accident prevention through critical self-assessment, proactive identification of management, behavioral and technical problems, and appropriate, timely and effective resolution of problems before they become crises.

Risk management is the cornerstone in our application of management system requirements and thus provides focus on better understanding of essential business activities to mitigate any business risk. An integrated risk management model provides us with a framework to achieve our objectives.
